Abstract

The economy of Kalimantan Timur based on the amount of GRDP at current prices in Quarter II / 2013 reached Rp 105.1 trillion (with oil and gas) or Rp 70.9 trillion (without oil and gas). Whereas the GRDP at constant 2000 prices reached Rp 30.4 trillion (with oil and gas) or Rp. 22.0 trillion (without oil and gas).

Kalimantan Timur economy in the second quarter of 2013 compared to the first quarter of 2013 (q-to-q) grew by a positive 0.23 percent, after contracting a negative 0.04 percent in the previous quarter. While the growth of Quarter II / 2013 compared to the same quarter of the previous year (y-on-y) reached a positive 1.12 percent, but not as fast as the growth of Quarter II / 2012 which was positive at 5.43 percent.
