Abstract

Kalimantan Timur in August 2013 experienced inflation of 1.78 percent, or there was a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 158.36 in July 2013 to 161.17 in August 2013. So that until August 2013 the inflation calendar in Kalimantan Timur reached 9.97 percent, while inflation year on year was 9.91 percent.

In detail according to the city, in August 2013, Samarinda City experienced Inflation of 2.22 percent, City of Balikpapan experienced Inflation of 1.30 percent and City of Tarakan Inflation of 1.64 percent. As of August 2013, Samarinda City calendar inflation reached 10.69 percent, Balikpapan City 8.84 percent and Tarakan City 10.77 percent. While inflation year-on-year in Samarinda City was 10.30 percent, Balikpapan City was 8.85 percent, and Tarakan City was 11.62 percent.
