Exports and Imports of Kalimantan Timur Province in March 2015

The export value of Kalimantan Timur in March 2015 reached US $ 1.61 billion or an increase of 10.94 percent compared to February 2015. Meanwhile, compared to March 2014, it decreased by 27.17 percent.

Oil and gas exports in March 2015 reached US $ 0.65 billion, up 8.72 percent compared to February 2015, while non-oil and gas exports in March 2015 reached US $ 0.95 billion, up 12.52 percent compared to February 2015.

The cumulative export value of Kalimantan Timur from January to March 2015 reached US $ 4.73 billion or decreased 26.48 percent compared to the same period in 2014. Of all exports in January-March 2015, oil and gas exports reached US $ 1.92 billion or decreased 30.89 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 2.80 billion or decreased by 23.12 percent.

The import value of Kalimantan Timur in March 2015 reached US $ 0.55 billion or increased by 40.03 percent compared to February 2015. Meanwhile, compared to March 2014, it decreased by 45.41 percent.

Oil and gas imports in March 2015 reached US $ 0.43 billion, up 37.17 percent compared to February 2015, while non-oil and gas imports in March 2015 reached US $ 0.12 billion, up 51.56 percent compared to February 2015.

Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur from January to March 2015 reached US $ 1.36 billion or decreased 34.82 percent compared to the same period in 2014. Of all imports in the period of January-March 2015, oil and gas imports reached US $ 1.07 billion decreased 37.35 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 0.28 billion or decreased 22.92 percent.

Kalimantan Timur's trade balance in March 2015 was a surplus of US $ 1.062 billion, higher than the February 2015 surplus of US $ 1.060 billion, thus the cumulative January-March 2015 surplus of US $ 3.37 billion.
