Abstract

A. EXPORT

The export value of Kalimantan Timur in March 2016 reached US $ 1.14 billion or increased by 6.60 percent compared to February 2016. Meanwhile, compared to March 2015, it decreased by 35.38 percent.
Oil and gas exports in March 2016 reached US $ 0.36 billion, up 8.30 percent compared to February 2016, while non-oil / gas exports in March 2016 reached US $ 0.78 billion, up 5.83 percent compared to February 2016.
The cumulative export value of Kalimantan Timur in January - March 2016 reached US $ 3.33 billion or decreased 32.43 percent over the same period in 2015. Of all exports from January to March 2016, oil and gas exports reached US $ 1.06 billion or decreased 44.71 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 2.27 billion or decreased by 24.58 percent.

B. IMPORT

The import value of Kalimantan Timur in March 2016 reached US $ 0.33 billion or an increase of 33.58 percent compared to import in February 2016. Meanwhile, compared to March 2015, it decreased by 38.91 percent.
Oil and gas imports in March 2016 reached US $ 0.26 billion, up 54.80 percent compared to February 2016, while non-oil and gas imports in March 2016 reached US $ 0.07 billion down 11.93 percent compared to February 2016.
The cumulative value of Kalimantan Timur imports from January to March 2016 reached US $ 0.82 billion or decreased 39.53 percent over the same period in 2015. Of all imports from January to March 2016, oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.58 billion or decreased 45.68 percent and non oil and gas reached US $ 0.24 billion or decreased 15.89 percent.
The Kalimantan Timur trade balance in March 2016 was a surplus of US $ 0.80 billion, less than the February 2010 surplus of US $ 0.82 billion, thus the cumulative January-March 2016 surplus of US $ 2.51 billion.
