CONSUMER TENDENCY INDEX OF KALIMANTAN TIMUR PROVINCE QUARTER IV YEAR 2015

Abstract

The economic condition of consumers in Kalimantan Timur Province in quarter IV / 2015 experienced an increase marked by the value of the Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of 105.90. However, the level of consumer optimism declined compared to the previous quarter (110.92). The improvement in consumer economic conditions in the fourth quarter of 2015 was driven by increased incomes and less inflationary impact on overall household expenditures.
The value of ITK Kalimantan Timur Province in the coming quarter I-2016 is estimated at 103.25. Although the amount is above 100 which means that the consumer economic condition is expected to increase compared to the fourth quarter-2015, but the level of consumer optimism fell 2.65 points compared to the quarter IV-2015 which amounted to 105.90.
