Abstract

The economic conditions of consumers in Kalimantan Timur Province in fourth quarter 2016 experienced a marked increase with the increase in the scale of value Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) becomes 101.23. Improved consumer economic conditions in the fourth quarter 2016 due to increased revenues and the level of consumption of goods / services consumer. However, the value of ITK down 4.56 points, indicating that the level of consumer optimism fell compared to the previous quarter (105.79).

Consumer Tendency Index of Kalimantan Timur Province in first quarter 2017 will come estimated at 100.58. Although the amount is above 100, which means that the economic conditions of consumers is expected to increase compared to fourth quarter 2016, but the level of consumer optimism fell 0.65 points.
