Abstract

  • The export value of Kalimantan Timur in January 2018 reached US $ 1.48 billion or decreased by 7.31 percent compared to December 2017. Meanwhile, compared to January 2017, it decreased by 0.81 percent.
  • Oil and gas exports in January 2018 reached US $ 0.23 billion, down 45.81 percent compared to December 2017. Meanwhile, non-oil and gas exports in January 2018 reached US $ 1.25 billion, up 6.53 percent compared to December 2017.
  • The cumulative export value of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to December 2017 reached US $ 17.48 billion or increased by 26.30 percent compared to the same period in 2016.
  • Of all exports from January to December 2017, oil and gas exports reached US $ 4.25 billion, up 12.45 percent and non-oil goods reached US $ 13.23 billion, up 31.50 percent compared to the same period in 2016.
  • The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in January 2018 reached US $ 0.32 billion or decreased by 10.40 percent compared to December 2017. Meanwhile, compared to January 2017, it increased by 49.80 percent.
  • Imports of oil and gas goods in January 2018 reached US $ 0.21 billion, down 24.45 percent compared to December 2017. while non-oil and gas imports in January 2018 reached US $ 0.11 billion, up by 39.72 percent compared to December 2017.
  • Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to December 2017 reached US $ 3.23 billion or decreased 12.94 percent compared to the same period in 2016. Of all imports from January to December 2017, imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 2.40 billion or down 8.05 percent and non-oil goods reached US $ 0.83 billion or decreased by 24.57 percent.
  • The Kalimantan Timur trade balance in January 2018 was a surplus of US $ 1.15 billion, less than the December 2017 surplus of US $ 1.23 billion. Meanwhile, cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to December 2017 has a surplus of US 14.25 billion.
