Abstract

  • The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2018 reached US $ 1.49 billion or an increase of 12.65 percent compared to April 2018. Meanwhile, compared to May 2017, it increased by 5.06 percent.
  • Oil and gas exports in May 2018 reached US $ 0.31 billion, up 44.59 percent compared to April 2018. Meanwhile, non-oil / gas exports in May 2018 reached US $ 1.18 billion, up 6.46 percent compared to April 2018.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to May 2018 reached US $ 7.39 billion, an increase of 4.08 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
  • Of all exports from January to May 2018, oil and gas exports reached US $ 1.34 billion, down 21.88 percent and non-oil goods reached US $ 6.05 billion, an increase of 12.36 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
  • The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2018 reached US $ 0.38 billion or decreased by 1.43 percent compared to April 2018. Meanwhile, compared to May 2017, it increased by 13.09 percent.
  • Imports of oil and gas goods in May 2018 reached US $ 0.27 billion, up 4.91 percent compared to April 2018. Meanwhile, non-oil and gas imports in May 2018 reached US $ 0.11 billion, down 14.00 percent compared to April 2018.
  • Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to May 2018 reached US $ 1.84 billion or increased by 57.32 percent compared to the same period in 2017. Of all imports from January to May 2018, oil and gas imports reached US $ 1, 32 billion or up 55.58 percent and non-oil goods reached US $ 0.52 billion, up 61.86 percent.
  • Kalimantan Timur's trade balance in May 2018 was a surplus of US $ 1.11 billion, higher than the April 2010 surplus of US $ 0.94 billion. Meanwhile, cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to May 2018 has a surplus of US $ 5.54 billion.
