Abstract

  • The export value of Kalimantan Timur in June 2018 reached US $ 1.64 billion or an increase of 9.83 percent compared to May 2018. Meanwhile, compared to June 2017, it increased by 26.80 percent.
  • Exports of oil and gas goods in June 2018 reached US $ 0.32 billion, up 2.59 percent compared to May 2018. Meanwhile, non-oil and gas exports in June 2018 reached US $ 1.32 billion, up 11.74 percent compared to May 2018.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to June 2018 reached US $ 9.03 billion, up 7.58 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
  • Of all exports from January to June 2018, oil and gas exports reached US $ 1.66 billion, down 19.67 percent and non-oil goods reached US $ 7.37 billion, an increase of 16.49 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
  • The import value of Kalimantan Timur in June 2018 reached US $ 0.19 billion or decreased by 48.85 percent compared to May 2018 imports. Meanwhile, compared to June 2017, it decreased by 8.69 percent.
  • Imports of oil and gas goods in June 2018 reached US $ 0.11 billion, down 56.91 percent compared to May 2018. Meanwhile, non-oil imports of June 2018 reached US $ 0.08 billion, down 29.34 percent compared to May 2018.
  • Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to June 2018 reached US $ 2.04 billion or increased by 47.20 percent compared to the same period in 2017. Of all imports from January to June 2018, oil and gas imports reached US $ 1, 43 billion or up 41.60 percent and non-oil goods reached US $ 0.60 billion or increased by 62.46 percent.
  • Kalimantan Timur's trade balance in June 2018 was a surplus of US $ 1.45 billion, higher than the May 2010 surplus of US $ 1.11 billion. Meanwhile, cumulatively, the Kalimantan Timur Province's trade balance in the period of January-June 2018 was a surplus of US 6.99 billion.
