February 2019, Exports Reach US $ 1.19 Billion and Imports Reach US $ 0.16 Billion

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in February 2019 reached US $ 1.19 billion or decreased by 17.86 percent compared to exports in January 2019. Meanwhile, compared to February 2018 it decreased by 15.01 percent.

The export value of oil and gas goods in February 2019 reached US $ 0.17 billion, down 22.54 percent compared to January 2019. While non-oil and gas exports in February 2019 reached US $ 1.01 billion, down 17.00 percent compared to January 2019.

Cumulatively the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to February 2019 reached US $ 2.63 billion, down 8.45 percent compared to the same period in 2018.

Of all exports from January to February 2019, oil and gas exports reached US $ 0.40 billion, down 20.73 percent and non-oil and gas goods reached US $ 2.23 billion, down by 5.84 percent compared to the same period in 2018.

The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in February 2019 reached US $ 0.16 billion or decreased by 40.05 percent compared to January 2019 imports. Meanwhile, compared to February 2018 it decreased by 55.77 percent.

Imports of oil and gas goods in February 2019 reached US $ 0.08 billion, down 38.97 percent compared to January 2019. While imports of non-oil and gas goods in February 2019 reached US $ 0.07 billion, a decrease of 41.21 percent compared to January 2019.

Cumulatively the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the period of January-February 2019 reached US $ 0.42 billion or decreased by 38.48 percent compared to the same period in 2018. Of all imports from January to February 2019, imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 0, 22 billion or down by 57.46 percent and non-oil and gas goods reached US $ 0.20 billion, up by 20.35 percent.

The trade balance in Kalimantan Timur in February 2019 was a surplus of US $ 1.03 billion, smaller than the surplus in January 2019 of US $ 1.18 billion. While cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January-February 2019 period was a surplus of US $ 2.21 billion.
