April 2019, Exports Reach US $ 1.33 Billion, Imports Reach US $ 0.19 Billion

Abstract

The export value of Kalimatan Timur Province in April 2019 reached US $ 1.33 billion or decreased by 11.89 percent compared to exports in March 2019. Meanwhile, compared to April 2018 it increased by 0.63 percent.
The export value of oil and gas goods in April 2019 reached US $ 0.09 billion, down 63.33 percent compared to March 2019. While the export of non-oil and gas goods in April 2019 reached US $ 1.24 billion, down 1.98 percent compared to March 2019.
Cumulatively the export value of Kalimatan Timur Province from January to April 2019 reached US $ 5.47 billion, down 7.12 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
Of all exports from January to April 2019, oil and gas exports reached US $ 0.73 billion, down 28.89 percent and non-oil and gas goods reached US $ 4.74 billion, down by 2.52 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
The import value of Kalimatan Timur Province in April 2019 reached US $ 0.19 billion or decreased by 18.08 percent compared to March 2019 imports. Meanwhile, compared to April 2018 it decreased by 49.96 percent.
April 2019 oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.08 billion, down 8.32 percent compared to March 2019. While April 2019 non-oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.11 billion, down 24.42 percent compared to March 2019.
Cumulatively the import value of Kalimatan Timur Province from January to April 2019 reached US $ 1.00 billion or decreased by 31.93 percent compared to the same period in 2018. Of all imports from January to April 2019, imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 0, 48 billion or down 54.59 percent and non-oil and gas goods reached US $ 0.52 billion, up by 25.54 percent.
Kalimatan Timur's trade balance in April 2019 was a surplus of US $ 1.14 billion, smaller than the March 2019 surplus of US $ 1.28 billion. While cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimatan Timur Province for the period of January-April 2019 was a surplus of US $ 4.48 billion.
