March 2019, Exports Reach US $ 1.51 Billion and Imports Reach US $ 0.23 Billion

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in March 2019 reached US $ 1.51 billion or an increase of 27.57 percent compared to exports in February 2019. Meanwhile, compared to March 2018 it decreased 10.93 percent.
The export value of oil and gas goods in March 2019 reached US $ 0.24 billion, up 40.46 percent compared to February 2019. While exports of non-oil and gas goods in March 2019 reached US $ 1.27 billion, up 25.36 percent compared to February 2019.
Cumulatively the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province from January to March 2019 reached US $ 4.14 billion, down 9.37 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
Of all exports from January to March 2019, oil and gas exports reached US $ 0.64 billion, down 21.11 percent and non-oil and gas goods reached US $ 3.50 billion, down 6.82 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in March 2019 reached US $ 0.23 billion or an increase of 50.52 percent compared to the import in February 2019. Meanwhile, compared to March 2018 it decreased 41.98 percent.
Imports of oil and gas goods in March 2019 reached US $ 0.09 billion, up 12.25 percent compared to February 2019. While imports of non-oil and gas goods in March 2019 reached US $ 0.14 billion, up 93.42 percent compared to February 2019.
Cumulatively the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the period of January-March 2019 reached US $ 0.81 billion or decreased by 25.36 percent compared to the same period in 2018. Of all imports from January to March 2019, imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 0, 39 billion or down by 50.66 percent and non-oil and gas goods reached US $ 0.41 billion, up by 45.16 percent.
Kalimantan Timur's trade balance in March 2019 was a surplus of US $ 1.28 billion, greater than the surplus in February 2019 of US $ 1.03 billion. While cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January-March 2019 period was a surplus of US $ 3.34 billion.
