September 2019, Exports Reach US $ 1.27 Billion, Imports Reach US $ 153.76 Million

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in September 2019 reached US $ 1.27 billion or decreased by 1.25 percent compared with exports in August 2019. Meanwhile, when compared to September 2018 it experienced a decrease of 13.74 percent.

The value of oil and gas exports in September 2019 reached US $ 0.14 billion, down 5.82 percent compared to August 2019. While exports of non-oil goods in September 2019 reached US $ 1.12 billion, down 0.63 percent compared to August 2019.

Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in the January-September 2019 period reached US $ 12.20 billion, down 9.81 percent compared to the same period in 2018.

Of all exports from January to September 2019, exports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 1.50 billion, down 37.56 percent and non-oil goods reached US $ 10.70 billion, down 3.80 percent compared to the same period in 2018.

The value of imports in Kalimantan Timur Province in September 2019 reached US $ 153.76 million or decreased by 29.04 percent compared to imports in August 2019. Meanwhile, when compared to September 2018 it decreased by 57.31 percent.

September 2019 imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 78.82 million, down 49.76 percent compared to August 2019. While imports of non-oil goods in September 2019 reached US $ 74.93 million, up by 25.36 percent compared to August 2019.

Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in the January-September 2019 period reached US $ 1.78 billion, down 45.29 percent compared to the same period in 2018. Of all imports in the January-September 2019 period, imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 908, 49 million or down 60.85 percent and non oil and gas goods reached US $ 875.19 million or decreased by 6.87 percent compared to the same period in 2018.

The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in September 2019 was a surplus of US $ 1.11 billion, an increase compared to the trade balance in August 2019 which was a surplus of US $ 1.07 billion. While cumulatively, the trade balance of the Province of Kalimantan Timur in the January - September 2019 period was a surplus of US $ 10.41 billion.
