September 2018, Exports Reach US $ 1.47 Billion, Imports Reach US $ 0.36 Billion

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in September 2018 reached US $ 1.47 billion or increased by 4.85 percent compared to August 2018 exports. Meanwhile, compared to September 2017 it decreased by 6.20 percent.
Exports of oil and gas goods in September 2018 reached US $ 0.23 billion, down 6.50 percent compared to August 2018. Meanwhile exports of non-oil and gas goods in September 2018 reached US $ 1.24 billion, up 7.25 percent compared to August 2018.
Cumulatively the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the period of January-September 2018 reached US $ 13.52 billion, up 6.28 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
Of all exports during January-September 2018, oil and gas exports reached US $ 2.41 billion, down 22.92 percent and non-oil and gas products reached US $ 11.12 billion, up 15.77 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in September 2018 reached US $ 0.36 billion or decreased by 33.41 percent compared to August 2018 imports. Meanwhile, compared to September 2017 it increased by 15.14 percent.
September 2018 oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.24 billion, down 41.74 percent compared to August 2018. Meanwhile September 2018 non-oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.12 billion, down 8.14 percent compared to August 2018.
Cumulatively the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the period of January-September 2018 reached US $ 3.26 billion or an increase of 45.52 percent compared to the same period in 2017. Of all import periods in January-
September 2018, imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 2.32 billion, up 39.87 percent and non-oil and gas goods reached US $ 0.94 billion, up 61.63 percent.
Kalimantan Timur's trade balance in September 2018 was a surplus of US $ 1.11 billion, greater than the August 2018 surplus of US $ 0.86 billion. While cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January-September 2018 period was a surplus of US $ 10.26 billion.
