April 2020, Exports Reach US $ 1.13 Billion, Imports Reach US $ 101.87 Million

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in April 2020 reached US $ 1.13 billion or decreased by 13.88 percent compared with exports in March 2020. Meanwhile, when compared to April 2019 it decreased by 15.53 percent.
The value of oil and gas exports in April 2020 reached US $ 135.44 million, up 4.09 percent compared to March 2020. While the exports of non-oil goods in April 2020 reached US $ 990.63 million, down 15.87 percent compared to March 2020.
Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in the period January - April 2020 reached US $ 4.93 billion, down 9.98 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
Of all exports from January to April 2020, the role of oil and gas goods exports reached 11.91 percent while the role of non-oil goods exports reached 88.09 percent.
The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in April 2020 reached US $ 101.87 million or decreased by 66.17 percent compared to imports in March 2020. Meanwhile, when compared to April 2019 it decreased by 46.97 percent.
April 2020 imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 40.98 million, down 81.62 percent compared to March 2020. While imports of non-oil goods in April 2020 reached US $ 60.89 million, down by 22.14 percent compared to March 2020.
Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in the period January - April 2020 reached US $ 838.63 million, down by 0.22 percent compared to the same period in 2019. Of all imports in the January - April 2020 period, the role of imports of oil and gas goods reached 61.05 percent while the role of non-oil goods imports reached 38.95 percent.
The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in April 2020 was a surplus of US $ 1.02 billion, an increase compared to the trade balance in March 2020 which was a surplus of US $ 1.01 billion. While cumulatively, the trade balance of the Province of Kalimantan Timur in the January - April 2020 period was a surplus of US $ 4.09 billion.
