NTP in May 2021 was 118.67 or decreased 0.21 percent compared to NTP in April 2021

Abstract

The NTP of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2021 was 118.67 or decreased 0.21 percent compared to the NTP in April 2021. The decrease in NTP was caused by the Price Paid Farmers Index (Ib) which rose higher than the Price Received by Farmers Index (It).
NTP per sub-sector of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2021, namely the Exchange Rate of Food Crops Farmers (NTPP) of 94.52; Horticultural Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 105.74; Farmers' Exchange Rate for People's Plantation Plants (NTPR) is 145.30; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 104.98; and the Exchange Rate of Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) of 103.11.
In May 2021, there were two sub-sectors that experienced an increase in NTP, namely the livestock sub-sector (1.80 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (0.42 percent). Meanwhile, three other sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the food crops sub-sector (-0.93 percent), the horticulture sub-sector (-1.74 percent), and the smallholder plantation sub-sector (-0.26 percent).
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2021 was 120.27, an increase of 0.17 percent compared to the NTUP in April 2021 which was recorded at 120.06. There are three sub-sectors that experienced an increase in NTUP, namely the people's plantation sub-sector, the livestock sub-sector, and the fishery sub-sector.
