NTP in May 2022 was 121.54 or decreased 9.88 percent compared to NTP in April 2022

Abstract

The decrease in NTP was caused by the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which fell, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) increased.

NTP per sub-sector of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2022, namely the Exchange Rate of Food Crops Farmers (NTPP) of 91.46; Horticultural Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 110.60; Farmer's Exchange Rate for People's Plantation Crops (NTPR) is 151.53; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 109.69; and the Exchange Rate of Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) of 101.29.

In May 2022, there were three sub-sectors that experienced an increase in FTT, namely the horticulture sub-sector (1.42 percent), the livestock sub-sector (2.36 percent), and the fisheries sub-sector (1.04 percent). Meanwhile, two other sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the food crops sub-sector (-0.59 percent) and the people's plantation sub-sector (-18.54 percent).

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2022 was 123.16 or decreased 9.71 percent compared to NTUP in April 2022 which was recorded at 136.41. There are two sub-sectors that experienced a decline in NTUP, namely the food crops sub-sector and the people's plantation sub-sector.
