Economic Growth of Berau Regency by Business Field in 2021

Abstract

The economy of Berau Regency in 2021, measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached Rp 43.02 trillion, and at constant 2010 prices, it was Rp 28.80 trillion.
The economy of Berau Regency grew by 5.36 percent in 2021, higher than the achievement in 2020, which experienced a growth contraction of -3.32 percent.
Out of 17 business fields, the health services and social activities sector experienced the highest growth in 2021, amounting to 21.14 percent.
There was only one business field that still experienced economic contraction in 2021, namely the processing industry, with a growth rate of -3.10 percent.
