Abstract

  • Kalimantan Timur Province Economy Quarter II-2019 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp 163.91 trillion and that at the basis of constant prices of 2010 reached Rp 121.25 trillion
  • The economy of Kalimantan Timur Quarter II-2019 against Quarter II-2018 grew by 5.43 percent (y-on-y), higher than the achievements of Quarter II-2018 which grew by 1.92 percent. From the production side, the highest growth y-on-y was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Sector which grew by 8.97 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Foreign Export component, which reached 8.94 percent
  • The economy of Kalimantan Timur in the second quarter of 2019 compared to the first quarter of 2019 grew by 0.14 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the highest q-to-q growth in Quarter II-2019 was achieved by the Large and Retail Trade Business Fields; Car and Motorcycle Repair which grew by 5.00 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Government Consumption Expenditure component of 29.31 percent
  • Economy of Kalimantan Timur Semester I-2019 compared to Semester I-2018 grew by 5.44 percent (c-to-c)
