Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in December 2018 reached US $ 1.58 billion or increased by 2.83 percent compared to exports in November 2018. Meanwhile, compared to December 2017 it decreased by 0.07 percent.
  • December 2018 oil and gas exports reached US $ 0.34 billion, up 33.17 percent compared to November 2018. Meanwhile, December 2018 non-oil and gas exports reached US $ 1.24 billion, down 3.25 percent compared to November 2018.
  • Cumulatively the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the period of January-December 2018 reached US $ 18.36 billion, up 5.01 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
  • Of all exports for the period January-December 2018, oil and gas exports reached US $ 3.32 billion, down 21.81 percent and non-oil and gas products reached US $ 15.03 billion, up 13.63 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
  • The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in December 2018 reached US $ 0.31 billion or decreased by 38.30 percent compared to November 2018 imports. Meanwhile, compared to December 2017 it decreased 15.29 percent.
  • December 2018 oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.17 billion, down 52.39 percent compared to November 2018. While December 2018 non-oil and gas imports reached US $ 0.13 billion, up 1.07 percent compared to November 2018.
  • Cumulatively the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the period of January-December 2018 reached US $ 4.56 billion, up by 41.19 percent compared to the same period in 2017. Of all imports from January to December 2018, imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 3, 21 billion or up 33.44 percent and non-oil and gas goods reached US $ 1.35 billion, up by 63.74 percent.
  • Kalimantan Timur's trade balance in December 2018 was a surplus of US $ 1.27 billion, greater than the November 2018 surplus of US $ 1.04 billion. While cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January-December 2018 period was a surplus of US $ 13.80 billion.
